Jubilate is a unique and compelling music ministry serving UVA students and the entire University community since 1973. This auditioned student choir performs a repertoire of challenging and meaningful choral music; accompanied and a capella; sacred and secular. Jubilate is grounded in a commitment to high standards, musical excellence, joyful praise, and openness to diversity and inquiry. In partnership with University Baptist Church and more than 700 alumni, Jubilate is the oldest choral group of its kind on the University grounds. Membership in Jubilate holds the promise of a welcoming and inclusive community that becomes family – a community that lasts long after graduation day.
