I wonder what you felt when you joined Jubilate? I think a lot of us thought: Oh good! I’ll get to sing! What a fabulous Christian community! That kind of thing. All of which is true … but then we began to experience Jubilate. The practices. The retreats. Tour! The goofiness. The tears. The sharing.
So much of the experience became about relationship. Relationships with our beloved directors. Relationships with each other, the congregations, UBC. But mostly, our relationship with God. For me, that relationship deepened significantly during my Jubilate years.
